Building and branding the ultimate guide to bar and cocktail cultureLeveraging content from the dozens of brands in their portfolio, Shift Global was asked by Bacardi to build the ultimate online experience around the cocktail culture. The site contains robust content for both the amateur and professional in the form of instructional videos, recipes and articles. The heavily animated site offers many entries of interaction and builds a personal database through the “Favorites” section -- allowing one to print, e-mail, text message and download to an iPod any of the thousands of recipes it contains. In addition, the site was to play the role of “silent endorser” of Bacardi Global Brands’ diverse product line -- handled through featured sponsorships and the listing of spirits by name in the recipes. |
